I wanted to keep you in the loop on what is happening with Wampei this month.

First, I’m in Vegas right now for CryptoBlockCon. I’m participating in a panel discussion on blockchain payments. https://www.cryptoblockcon.com/las-vegas-december-2018. The conference in Spring 2018 was great, this should be great, especially in light of the recent downturn in the market.  I love going head-to-head with investor types.

Second, our Bitcoin Payments meetups and training events last month went very well. Thanks to Serendipity Labs, Denver Crypto Group,  Colorado Springs Blockchain, and those of you to those of you who came or watched the videos. Also, I attended BlockFS 2018 a blockchain/banking conference put on by American Banker in NYC. It was eye-opening. It is public knowledge that the big banks are funding private, permissioned blockchain projects, but most interesting to me was the active projects in the public blockchain space. They recognize that public blockchain is extremely disruptive and are working to determine a framework in which they can be effective. Fun Fact: JP Morgan issued $700 Million in debt on the blockchain. They forked Ethereum, added some security and used that for the debt. Last, the Whomp! mobile app will be launched this month. It should appeal to food service, small and professional service businesses.  It brings the power of Wampei Register© to your mobile phone.
